Maternal Matters PLC is a new company providing assessment, support and residential care to mothers aged 13 upwards and their children. We support existing needs of the mother and child whilst promoting and assessing a maternal bond. Ultimately, we support the family unit in their integration into the wider community.

The ongoing support packages offered by Maternal Matters provide a complete solution, from time of referral to independent living within the wider community. This approach gives our staff team an opportunity to make a real and lasting difference. By forging relationships, gaining trust, and effectively being a mentor, you can play a key part in realising the young mothers' potential and recognising her progress towards her and her child enjoying a healthy, happy and successful life together.

Our model is built around a proxy family atmosphere, something some users may never have experienced. Our maximum occupancy at each centre is 3 women plus their children. We feel smaller numbers make the support more personal and family orientated, with the aim of achieving more positive outcomes in shorter timescales.
